TRX was invented by a Navy Seal. It stands for total body resistance exercise with a focuse strenght development, balance, flexibility and core strength. The TRX is a form of workout that leverages, gravity and your body weight to perform hundreds of exercises. You can challenge yourself or each exercise because you can adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance and make it easier or harder based on your fitness level.
